Resetting Network Adapter

Sometimes after running FixMeStick, you may have to reset your network adapter settings to ensure there are no lingering settings left by the malware. To do so, first open the Command Prompt as administrator. To open the command prompt in Windows 8/8.1/10, you can do so by right-clicking on the windows key in the bottom left and then selecting "Command Prompt (admin)."

In Windows 7 or other versions, you can open the command prompt by opening the start menu, typing "cmd" in the search bar at the bottom of the menu, and then right-clicking on the program in the list and selecting "Run as administrator."

Once the Command prompt loads, type netsh winsock reset and then press enter.

This will reset your network adapter settings and you will see the following image:

To complete the process, simply restart your computer and your network adapter will then be reset!
