If your screen remains black after FixMeStick starts, then the FixMeStick is not running.
To solve this problem, start FixMeStick again, but this time, when you see the message "FixMeStick starting in 8s. Hit any key for advanced boot options," hit any key.
Note: On Windows 8/8.1 computers, you will see "The highlighted entry will be started automatically in 8s" at the bottom of the screen.
After hitting any key, select the first Failsafe option. If the FixMeStick still does not start, please repeat the above steps and try the other default or failsafe options. You can find more information about the advanced boot options HERE.
If the steps above fail, it could be that your FixMeStick needs to have a Factory Upgrade. To do so, follow these steps.
