The new IOLO System Mechanic Scan helps you optimize your PC for better performance. Here’s how to use it.
Post-scan
Once your FixMeStick scan is complete, you’ll see a pop-up window.
- In this window, a new light blue section will appear with an option to scan your computer for non-security issues.
- To start the optimization, simply click the dark blue System Mechanic Scan button.
From the Settings Menu
You can also access the System Mechanic Scan anytime from the Settings menu:
- Open the Settings by clicking the highlighted button in the navigation bar.
- Select the new System Mechanic Scan option.
- The scan will begin automatically.
Running the Scan
No matter how you start it, the System Mechanic Scan usually takes less than 30 seconds to complete.
Viewing Results
When the scan finishes, you’ll see a summary of your system’s health, including:
- RAM usage
- Registry issues
- Storage status
Based on the results, you’ll also have the option to take further action through our discounted upgrade to the full IOLO System Mechanic.
